River End
If you follow Delaware north, it will take you to the Kaw if you go by foot. There you can see in the river during normal flow the remains of one of the old bridges crossing to North Lawrence. All there is are some pilings and rock out from the north dock about 30 ft. We used to try to dredge under these in the '90's at Kaw Sand, but such an endeavor was useless. The place in this drawing is on the east side of the street running north to the river. Lots of history to watch if you had sat where I sat here, but done it for the last 150 years instead of the few minutes it took to do this drawing.

Wonderful. So glad you are doing this. (Do you have a pic of 200 Ash in Muscatine?) I was thinking you drew it once... know you drew my rocking chair. :>)
